A Woman of Contrasts

DD4: "Mom, can we please go somewhere today?"

Me: "Well, where were you thinking you'd like to go?"

DD4: "Well, I want to go to Disneyland Paris and then Paris."

Me: "No, we won't be going to Paris today."

DD4: "Okay. Well, then can we go to Woolworth's please and get some pick-n-mix?"

Ah... I do understand this little girl of yours. Sometimes you just wanna get out! :) You gotta *try* for your first choice first! :)

Those might be my two top choices, too... Paris and FOOD!

How many kids her age even KNOW where/what Paris is?! I love that she is so cultured already! Very cute.

That reminds me of the last time we were in London riding the tube...a man in his young twenties was near us, on his coat was this small round red and white swirly pin, the old woman standing next to him asked what it was and he replied,"Why its a boiled sweet Mum."

smiling in remembrance...

If you stop by my blog I have a new friend, he is an estate gardener in England...check out his blog...amazingly cool (The Estate Gardener)

Well, if you can't go to Paris, you might as well go somewhere! She's one up on most American kids now in having been to Disneyland Paris.
